This musical production is a special theatrical creation by the Caracalla dance Theatre which will premiere to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Baalbeck International Festival.
Based on a folkloric journey to the past and translated in a contemporary visual approach, this musical brings together a most unique cast of artists, star singers and actors in addition an international creative team such as celebrated stage director Nicolas Joel (Artistic Director of the Toulouse Opera House), famed music composer Maestro Reza Aligholi, renowned lighting designer of premiere European stages Vinicio Cheli, and renowned and accomplished set designer Giuliano Spinelli,

  • Assi Hellani: a superb talent and a golden voice resonating with tenderness, in the role of the cavalier Mezian in pursuit of love.
  • Hoda Haddad: leading star actress and singer of Lebanon, in the role of "Sitt Handoumé", the mother eager to marry off her daughter to Fadlou, into a wealthy family and fulfill her vain goal of nobility.
  • Joseph Azar: a renowned voice of musical plays, in the role of "Sheikh Finianos", the voice of reason.
  • Aline Lahoud: a rising talent with a magical voice, in the role of "Leila" who seeks to follow her heart against the town's traditions.
  • Simon Obeid: a strong musical presence, in the role of the vicious "Shihan Agha" who finds pleasure in planting conspiracy between the villagers.
  • Gabriel Yammine: with a powerful dramatic stage background, in the role of the rich villager "Bou Fadlou" who still thinks he is a French Marquis.
  • Rifaat Torbey: renowned character actor, in the role of the village fool "Habalone", who pretends to knows nothing but says everything.
  • Tony Aad and Ali Zein: accomplished actors, in the role of "Abdel-Ghiné Afandi" who is never satisfied no matter the situation and the notary.
